Sub Committee Interview
we will be interviewing members from our club as sub committee members. Naturally, the selected sub committee members will be managing the club as "2010 committee members" if they proved themselves worthy and up to job. Below will be a rough guide regarding on what committee members will be able to learn.
Sub committee members will be able to:
- Learn to plan fun astronomy events.
- Gain leadership experiences.
- Meet new people and make more friends.
- Learn to handle astronomy equipments with proficiency
- Improve in presentation skills
Dates: 4th Nov 09 (WED) & 11th Nov 09 (WED)
Time : 3pm - 6pm
Venue: Meet 2 @ Moberly

This coming Friday will be on night observation in the stadium, come join in for chit-chatting and have a fun session ya.
Alumni will be joining us and giving insights of astronomy.

Orionids !! (:
Welcome back to school !!
Astro activities will resume as usual when school starts !! (:
It's the Orionids for this this coming Friday!! :DDD
Date: 23rd Oct 2009
Start Time: Friday, October 23 at 8:00pm
End Time: Saturday, October 24 at 8:00am
If u happen to be early! you can also gather at the clubhouse around 6.00pm for group dinner !
There will be no presentation but night observation.
Would be an overnight event to spot meteors radiating from the constellation
Notable objects are:
- Scorpius and Sagittarius
- Jupiter in Capricornus
- Summer Triangle(Altair-Aquila, Deneb-Cygnus, Vega-Lyra)
- Great square of Pegasus
- Nebula-Orion, Pleiades-Taurus
- Mars in Cancer
*In case of bad weather, it will be games and screening of astronomy documentaries.
*You can also bring along your friends for a stay over in school !
