To celebrate Chinese New Year, 6 capable guys from SP Astronomers has came up with plans!

This event is to allow secondary school students who is interested in astronomy have an hands on experience with telescopes and the night sky.
Practical Astronomy - Get hands on with telescopes
Astronomy Knowledge - Know about stars

SP Openhouse 2009
SP Astronomers Club will be involved in the SP Openhouse 2009.
Seeking helpers!
SP OPENHOUSE SET UPDate 6 Jan 2009
Time: 5pm
Venue: Outside Foodcourt4 and beside Auditorium
Helpers to:
Set up
Decorate
Names will be taken on the spot, CCA points might be given.SP OPENHOUSE 2009Date: 8-10 JAN 2009
Time: 10-6pm
Venue: Outside Foodcourt4 and beside Auditorium, Astronomers booth
Helpers to:
Tend the booth
Interact with visitors
Play a simple game with keen visitors
Tend the solar observation site
Leave of Absence will be provided
CCA points will be given to those that tend the booth for more than 2hours/120minutes consecutively.
